Weser bike path

 

Length: ca. 35 km
 

Experience the gently rolling mountain world on a sightseeing tour in Lippisch Bergland, passing the Weserrenaissance castle Varenholz near the Weser. Follow the bicycle paths of the Weser and gain a diverse insight into the surroundings.

Mountainbike tour

 

Length: ca. 42 km

This moderate mountain bike tour takes you through a vividly hilly, agricultural and green landscape. Beginning at the camping park you drive along the nature reserve of the Ostenuther Kiesteiche towards Eisbergen, a district of Porta Westfalica. Then you cycle on further west close to the Weser. At the historic town of Vlotho you cross the Weser and follow the route in southern direction to the nature reserve Kleiner Selberg. From there you trace the route northeastwards to Kalldorf, to the lowest point in the Kalletal, and continue your tour back to our camping park.

Kalletal Round

 

Length: ca. 56 km

Explore the diversity of the picturesque landscape in the beautiful Kalletal between Weserbergland and Teutoburger Wald. From the campsite, this circular tour takes you to the monastery Möllenbeck, which invites you to a visit. The Wald- und Forstmuseum in Kalletal-Heidelbeck gives you an insight into forest life. Here the hunting of former days and today is explained. Through the main town of the large community of Kalletal, Hohenhausen, with its 16,000 inhabitants, follow the paths over mountain and valley and along the Weser, back to the camping park.

Round about Bückeburg

 

Length: ca. 62 km
 

This round trip offers charming contrasts between tradition and modernity, an undisturbed coexistence of recreational landscape and architecture. Passing the visitor mine Kleinenbremen, the route leads you to the picturesque town of Bückeburg with its Weser-Renaissance castle of the Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe. Enjoy the ride along the Weser bike path, past the Kaiser Wilhelm monument.

Fast cycle route

 

Length: ca. 63 km
 

Discover many sights on this very varied and scenic tour. The track is suitable for racing bikes and mainly asphalted. The route leads you from the campsite via Rinteln to the Kaiser Wilhelm monument and to Bad Oeynhausen. The Bali Therme and the Variety Theater invite you to a visit. Cross the Weser with the historic high-wire ferry Veltheim - Varenholz and enjoy an extraordinary kind of ferrying experience.

Great Kalletal round

 

Length: ca. 66 km
 

Let yourself be captivated by the landscape. This promising round trip runs relaxing and sporty on the most beautiful routes of the Kalletal and Extertal towards Porta Westfalica. You get back with the only Lippe Weser ferry that connects Porta-Westfalica Veltheim with Kalletal-Varenholz. The ferry operates from April to October on weekends and public holidays.
