Sustainability and environmental protection

We share responsibility for our environment together with you. Please help us to minimise pollution as much as possible.

Water: It is sometimes thought that here in Germany we have an unlimited supply of this important resource. The first problems in supplying the cities and falling ground water levels resulting in serious damage to our forests have shown that it is important for us in Northern Germany to limit our water consumption too.

Waste water: Our waste water is purified via a dedicated waste water treatment system and then removed via the runoff ditches. This equipment is very sensitive to sanitary fluids, so please either do not use these at all or only use sanitary fluids which work without any bactericidal additives. Please also help to protect the environment by only using biodegradable detergents and cleaning materials.

Hot water: Our hot water is produced using solar power and wood pellet heating.

Waste separation: As the dumping of waste is no longer permitted in Germany, we ask you to help us in avoiding and sorting waste.

Our campsite will do everything possible to reduce environmental pollution and avoid cost increases in this area for you as our visitors.

The Campingpark Kalletal is a member of the Ecocamping label. Information on the work of Ecocamping is available at Reception or on the website www.ecocamping.net
